I don't think that they're the direct cause. Those Windows updates may have simply triggered a problem that was just waiting to happen.
That "can receive data, but cannot send" simply indicates that there's something wrong with your driver situation, and you've got to try cleaning out your drivers for starters. Then you should be able to create a new driver CD. If you still have the Bootcamp 1.4 utility, just set your computer's date back to before September 30th, 2007 before you launch the app and it should work fine. The Bootcamp 2.0 drivers included on the OS X 10.5 retail DVD aren't going to help this problem any more than the 1.4 drivers will (they're pretty much the same). You could try uninstalling the DeathAdder driver and then reinstalling it, but if it seems like this is a system wide issue, then you might need to try to nuke your Boot Camp drivers, and if THAT doesn't work, your Vista installation. Unless someone else has a better idea, it sounds like you might want to try wiping some of the junk off your system to see if that helps resolve the problem that you're experiencing. One thing, first of all-the company you're referring to is Apple, not "Mac." Apple creates Macintosh computers, not the other way around.Īnyway, you're using nVidia drivers for your mouse, which should work perfectly with Macs running 32-bit Windows XP and Vista.
So is there a way to update to the newest bootcamp that does not involve upgrading to OS X.5? I would love to do that at some point but I do not have the cash right now. However.I currently do not have my OS X > Vista drivers disc that I had to burn with boot camp, and boot camp will not let me burn a new driver disc since the version I have is the "BETA" version and will not let me proceed with burning a new disc. So.not sure what is going on that would allow the laptop to read and recognize a USB harddrive, but ignore a USB mouse on the same port. However, I have an external hard drive which can be plugged into either USB port and I can access it just fine. So I think the problem is actually with the USB drivers provided by mac and the newest Vista updates.Ĭurrently now no mouse will work when plugged into a use port. Driver Version 1.08 and firmware version 1.27. Emailed Razer about it but I doubt I will get a response for several days. So anyways.I was just wondering if anyone else was having this problem if they knew of a solution =). Also sometimes when I plug the mouse in, Vista says that it recognizes the mouse and goes through its driver installation, but still no luck with the mouse.
Now whats really weird is that when I have my mouse plugged in and open up the Razer software I am able to turn off of the scroll wheel light and logo light, however I cannot move the cursor or click with the mouse. I tried switching USB ports, no luck, tried a different mouse and that worked, tried my mouse on other computers and it worked, mouse works fine in OS X as well. So I went to Razer's site and updated all the new drivers and firmware and still no luck with the mouse. So it went through everything and updated, but when my laptop restarted my Razer DeathAdder mouse decided to not work. So today, I jump on windows to do some work for school, and well vista decided it need to update itself. Hey everyone me again.time to bug you all with another pesky vista question.
